Leora BH Careers

Leora's clinicians provide outpatient addiction and mental health treatment at facilities in Columbus and Dayton, Ohio. If you are looking for a career in that work, current openings are posted on Leora's careers board.

The work

All of Leora's care is outpatient. Clients live at home and come in for treatment, so their recovery happens alongside their jobs and families. Where a client has a substance use disorder and a mental health condition at the same time, both are treated. Leora has no beds and does not provide residential or inpatient care.

Levels of care

Clinicians work across Leora's full continuum of outpatient care. This is what clients attend at each level.

  • Ambulatory detox: medically supervised withdrawal for mild to moderate symptoms, assessed and monitored by nurse practitioners and registered nurses, with medication assisted treatment where needed
  • Partial hospitalization: five days a week, about six hours a day of group therapy, relapse prevention and nurse education, plus one or two individual sessions a week
  • Intensive outpatient: three to five days a week, three hours of group therapy a day, plus one or two individual sessions a week
  • Outpatient: one or two days a week, a two hour therapy group, plus individual sessions
  • Virtual IOP: fully remote, for clients anywhere in Ohio
  • Alumni program: ongoing counseling, help finding work and twelve step meetings

Therapies

The therapies used include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family therapy, twelve step facilitation, medication assisted treatment and case management. See all therapies and services.
